Privacy Notice
This notice explains what Pixel Dream Works Studio collects, why we use it, who receives it, and the choices and rights available to you. Optional Pinterest advertising and conversion measurement remains off unless you actively consent.
1. Who controls your information
Pixel Dream Works Studio is the controller for personal information collected through this website and shop. For privacy questions or requests, contact pixeldreamworkstudio@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: your name, email address, billing details excluding full card numbers, order information, account details if you create an account, and messages sent through contact forms or email.
Information collected when you use the site: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, security logs, and shop interactions.
Order and payment information: products, price, currency, order status and transaction references. Full payment-card details are handled by payment providers and are not stored by Pixel Dream Works Studio.
3. Why we use information and our legal bases
- Contract: to take payment, fulfil digital orders, provide downloads and customer support.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records and respond to lawful requests.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the site, prevent fraud, diagnose faults and improve essential shop performance, provided those interests do not override your rights.
- Consent: for optional Pinterest advertising and conversion measurement and for marketing communications where you choose to opt in.
4. Pinterest Tag and Conversions API
These tools are optional and remain disabled until you consent. Rejecting them does not prevent you browsing the site or purchasing digital products.
With your permission, we use the Pinterest Tag in your browser and Pinterest Conversions API on the server to understand whether Pinterest activity leads to visits and shop actions. Events may include page visits, searches, category and product views, adding a product to the basket, and completed checkout activity.
The information sent may include an event name and timestamp, a random event identifier used to prevent duplicate counting, the page URL, product identifiers, product name or category, price, quantity, currency, order reference, IP address, browser or device information, and Pinterest identifiers where present.
We do not enable Enhanced Match or Automatic Enhanced Match. This implementation does not intentionally send your email address or phone number to Pinterest for matching.
Pinterest uses this information for conversion reporting, attribution, measurement and related advertising services under its Privacy Policy and Ad Data Terms.
You can reject Pinterest measurement initially or withdraw consent later. Withdrawal stops future Pinterest Tag and Conversions API events from this site; it does not delete data Pinterest received while your consent was active.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies and local storage support security, consent records, basket and checkout functions. They are required for the service and cannot be switched off through the optional-measurement control.
The consent choice is stored in the first-party cookie pdw_consent_v1 for up to 180 days so the site can remember whether Pinterest measurement is allowed. You can change this choice at any time using Cookie settings.
Browser settings can also remove or block cookies, although blocking essential shop cookies may affect basket or checkout functions.
6. Who receives information
We share only the information needed for each provider to perform its service. Providers include:
- payment services, including Stripe, PayPal and supported wallet providers;
- Brevo for transactional email;
- Cloudways and associated infrastructure providers for hosting and security;
- Google services used for site measurement or product listings where enabled; and
- Pinterest for optional advertising and conversion measurement after consent.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or to protect users and the service. We do not rent personal information.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, the relevant provider or transfer mechanism uses measures such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognised safeguard. Provider privacy notices explain their arrangements in more detail.
8. How long we keep information
- Order and accounting records: generally six years after the relevant accounting period, where needed for tax and legal obligations.
- Support messages: only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain service records or resolve a dispute.
- User accounts: while the account remains active and afterwards only where retention is necessary.
- Consent choice: up to 180 days, unless you change the choice or clear the cookie sooner.
- Provider-held measurement data: according to the provider's applicable retention policy and terms.
9. Your UK data-protection rights

10. Security and changes to this notice
We use HTTPS, restricted administrative access, reputable payment services, backups and security controls designed to protect the site and its records. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this notice when services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be shown here with a revised date.
